Safety Features of the Ram 1500

Six airbags come standard on the Ram 1500. Deploying from the dashboard and along both sides of the cabin for both front and back seats, they form a padded cage to protect occupants in the event of a collision. The airbag system also integrates adaptive venting, which varies the pressure of the airbags according to whether the passenger is an adult or child.

An advanced radar system also keeps the Ram 1500 riding in the center of its lane and maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles. If the truck senses an obstruction, it will alert the driver and may reduce the speed in order to avoid an impact.
