Safety is of paramount importance for any vehicle, but it is even more important when you are driving a car with the size and weight of the Chrysler 300. The 300 has many features to keep drivers safe on America's roads.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration awarded the Chrysler 300 five out of five stars in its frontal crash test rating, which means that this car offers an outstanding level of protection for drivers during a collision with another vehicle or stationary object. It also earned four out of five stars in side-impact testing, which tells us that while not perfect, this car does provide some safety benefits against lateral crashes too.

The Chrysler 300 also has come under fire for its stability control system. A new test conducted by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety found that the base model of this car does not activate its stability control system when presented with an obstacle on a turn.
