The Ram 1500 is a superb all-season pickup that plows and tows the heaviest jobs. Its rigid frame and tough engine lineup give it major power on city streets and country roads. Our Robert Green Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep & Ram team members are big fans of this truck, period, but we really respect its durability features.

If "Never Give Up" Was a Truck

The Ram 1500's fuel economy is a whopping 21/29 mpg city/highway. It also tows up to 12,750 pounds and has a max payload capacity of 2,300 pounds. How? Its engine lineup consists of powerful superstars ranging in displacement from 3.0 to 6.2 liters and in horsepower from 260 to 700. One of the more powerful engines, a HEMI V8, has high horsepower, torque and eTorque. The latter, a hybrid system connected to a battery-powered motor, adds even more torque.

The Frame That Never Quits

On top of its advanced safety and tech features, the Ram 1500 has a frame boasting 98-percent high-strength steel. It's rigid, extremely durable and crashworthy. The rigidity of the frame contributes to the Ram 1500's towing and payload without subtracting from its economy, saving you gas and money as you zip between work errands in Monticello.
